Message	a new ECUis more then a "little" more kick..its a LOT more kick. I dont know who told you 700 for a stillen/jwt, but you should be able to find one for 500-600, and used for less [classifieds] install is a snap. if you are so worried about engine damage then i would sugest a boost controller with the new ecu [it will guarantee that you are not overboosting], and new colder spark plugs are a very positive thing if you are uping the boost. if you cant afford all that, then wait tillyou can...beats the price of a new engine. HIH
